Battle Wounds

Our poor little guy had to get his 2 month shots yesterday. I felt HORRIBLE for him. I gave him a bath and fed him before we left so he'd be all relaxed at the doc's office. Sure enough, he fell asleep on the way there and was even still asleep while we were waiting for the doc. We went back into the room and I had to strip him to get his weight and height. The little chunker is now 11 lbs 12 oz and 23 1/2" long! So, in 10 weeks, he's gained 5 lbs and grown just about 4 inches! Wow! Needless to say, he's a great eater. Anyway...so he was super good and talking and smiling and all that....and then the nurse came back in with his shots. He was all excited to take his oral one and then the nurse took his leg and all I remember was this horrible screaming cry, oh, and Sam crying too ;-) He hated it, and I felt so bad for him. He finally calmed down and fell asleep again in the car. When we got home and he woke up, he was actually in a good mood for a little while. I decided it was the perfect opportunity for a photo shoot of his poor sore legs. All in all, he's toughed it out....thank goodness for Children's Tylenol!
